Dawn has been in the fitness industry for over 16 years and her approach to teaching is wanting you to feel like you have had a great workout, and leave her class feeling, healthy, strong and relaxed.
Her philosophy has always been to keep pilates affordable and accessible to everyone but without compromising the quality, she wants each person to feel challenged but always listening to your own body and progressing at a level suited to each individual.
Dawn decided to become a pilates instructor after many clients would come to her with back complaints, tightness, or injury and she would often recommend pilates to strengthen the core. Dawn is a Jazzercise fitness instructor and knew the importance of Pilates and working the core as Jazzercise incorporates lots of pilates moves, so she decided to study this on a deeper level so she was able to help others from the many benefits that Pilates offer.
Dawn is passionate about delivering classical mat pilates and incorporating the principles and fundamentals of pilates into her classes but also into everyday life.
I started doing Pilates with Dawn during lockdown and the classes were delivered amazingly. Dawn is a fantastic coach and is very clear and precise on each and every move. She guides you throughout the session and shows modifications where moves are a bit tough. I have come a long way from when I first started with her. Her techniques are amazing and she never makes the sessions boring. Every session has new moves so you are always learning. I suffer from back problems and Dawn’s sessions have helped me so much.
